Videography: One of the Best Tools to Help Market Your Home

What is videography and how does it help with marketing your home?

Property Videography is an innovative way to bring more attention to your property by boosting exposure levels to their maximum.

Here at Hull Gregson Hull, we offer two forms of property video. One of which is a short form 30-60 second video of the main highlights of your property. The video is filmed in portrait on our DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera, and this is edited by a trained member of our team who will then upload it to our TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels. Our use of hashtags and trending sounds then places your property video across the algorithm to appear on thousands of user pages to entice interest.

Our long form video is 3-5 minutes long and consists of a detailed tour of the property in landscape, presented by the only team other than yourself who know the property inside out – us! This video is presented just like a real viewing, showcasing everything your home has to offer and the area surrounding it. This video is then posted to our consistently growing YouTube channel, and onto your online property listing. This is great tool to attract out of area buyers as it helps them to make a decision to view the property before committing to the travel.

Videography is a great way to invite interest from both ‘active buyers’ and ‘passive buyers’.

But what is a ‘passive buyer?’

A passive buyer is someone who is ‘tentatively’ looking over the property market and hasn’t yet committed to moving. Evidentially, videography has been proven to encourage these passive buyers into action. Therefore, videography extends your property’s buyer pool to include both active buyers and passive buyers, increasing exposure and further enhancing your chances at securing a sale.
